I'd bet Husky is out for this one. Most of the tweets I've seen make it seem that Lashoff might start, after Husky got rocked in the St. Louis game.

Has anyone else been really impressed with Lashoff this season? Aside from a few mistakes, he's been pretty solid on both ends of the ice.

Oh, poor Jimmy!  No wonder he looked pained!

I'm glad he's ok.  Jimmy's Yambags would be a great name for a band, but a depressing thread.

Jordin scores two goals tonight since it's his day.

Wings win 2-1.

Knock on wood, Wings 5-2. Look for Tootoo's first as a Wing, Kronwall, Franzen, Datsyuk, and a garbage goal for Cleary off a weird bounce.

Formerly known as The Nephilim.

KHAAAAAAN!!! reported that tests on Husky came back negative. He is expected to play tonight.

Glad he wasn't hurt!

"And the best, I must confess, I have saved for the last, for the ruler of this Christmas land,

is a fearsome king with a deep mighty voice, least, that's what I've come to understand.

And I've also heard it told, that he's something to behold, like a lobster, huge and red!

When he sets out to slay with his rain gear on, carting bulging sacks with his big great arms, that is so I've heard it said.

And on a dark cold night, under full moon light, he flies into a fog like a vulture in the sky!

And they call him Sandy Claws!

2 for 22 2-night.  I am waiting for Eaves to produce, too, so I can use the Eavesy-smilie.  :w00t:

Glad Jimmy is OK, I hear that sort of thing doesn't feel too good, so he really took one for the team.

Wings will win, Z has put on his Captain Courageous hat and will lead us to victory.  Go, Wings!!!

Well, let's see what this team is made of. Had a great game against one of the top teams in the league last night, can't take the night off against a celler dweller. If they have a solid effort & STAY OUT OF THE BOX, we should get the 2. I think Bert will have a big night :-)

I'm still confused I missed when he got "injured" can someone refer me to a time in the period it happened?

Jimmy's Yambags would be a great name for a band

They would open for Gustavsson's Lingering Groin.

Is it too much to hope the refs swallow their whistles for this one?

Just got my tickets for the game- it will be a sell-out or close to it. Unfortunately, I will be sitting where CBJ attacks twice. Good to see the Wings in person again after I missed out on the first game in Columbus.

With boll, dorsett, and Tootoo sharing the ice I don't see Tootoo having ice time to score much.  He was already disliked by cbj before coming to Detroit and the way columbus keeps trying to make Detroit a "rival" I see a physical game with some fisticuffs.

Thanks for doing the GDT for us.  You do excellent work.  It's a hoot to be able to come here and get that pertinent info for each game, especially in such asthetic fashion.  It truely is part of my great game day experience.

As Lids was a worhy successor to Yzerman for the Captaincy, and Z after him, you, sir, have done Aflac proud.

GO Wings!  Keep the momentum rollin.

Hey Neighbor, lets get a bunch of us Vancouver area Wings fans together and go see the Griffins when they come to Abbotsford! (But that's another thread...)

5-2-1 looks a whole lot better than 4-3-1.

Tonight we'll find out if the Wings have the hunger and a killer instinct early in the season.

4-3 Wings in OT (knock on wood). Z, Brooooner, Smith, Bert.
