Acquired him for a fifth rounder, he was highly touted at one point, but seems to have fallen out of favor in LA. Could become a steal for the Devils.

Devils should be able to make a decent run again this year. They've been playing some really good hockey even without Parise, which I thought would've taken them down a notch or two. Seems like they're running on motivation and hate!

Agreed don't see how this hurts the Devils. They are looking solid and could be up for another deep run. Time will tell..

To be honest I've never heard about the guy, so let's see what he can do but the Devils do have a great system in place so maybe they can surprise a lot of people again..

Loktionov is effectively stalled behind everyone else in LA though. Remember when they were high on Frolov too?

Don't know much about this pickup, but I do know the Devils need another forward or two and they are stacked on defense.
Crazy thought, maybe Holland should do some talking to Lou?

They have him playing on a line with Kovalchuk and he's had 4 points in 5 games, not bad.
