heh, Emdog?

For the record, I don't think that Emmerton has accomplished anything noteworthy or otherwise endeared himself to the fan-base in any way that would merit a nick name.

I would like to see us drop Emmerton, Mursak, and Abby. Unfortunately, Abby will stay on the team because he provides a bit of sandpaper amongst a bunch of softies... besides that, he doesn't impress. I think he should be worried for his job should we obtain another 'gritty' forward.

Abdelkader hasnt elevated his game. Emdog has. We will see.

I'm all for Emmerton staying on the big club. I think there's a reason why the 4th line has stayed the same almost all season. Miller, Emmerton and Tootoo have been a very good 4th line combo for the Wings this season.

As a nickname, Emdog is about as creative as a barbed wire tattoo around the upper arm.  Sounds more lke a low budget DJ or off lable rapper.   You're destined for mediocracy and a career full of forgettability with a nickname like that.

I agree that Abdog hasn't elevated his game.... but Emdog has?

I laughed heartily. :D  Don't think I would want to be in the general vicinity of Tootdog.

Your Detroit RedDogs, ladies and gentlemen.

I'd like to see Bertuzzi, Samuelsson, and Cleary squeezed out by younger, hungrier players, and Emmerton and Mursak replaced by better prospects.  I don't expect those things to happen until this summer at the earliest, though.

Jokes aside, I actually like the way this line-up looks. Not in the way that they're all dogs, but you know what I mean.

Emdog is good for his role. Ease up.

I actually agree. I'm just thinking a healthy Helm bumps Abby to the 4th line pivot, bumping Emmerton out. Unless Babcock puts Abby on Emmerton's wing and then scratches Miller.

Book it though, Cleary-Helm-Sammy/Bert with either Sammy or Bert in the top six will be your third line if the Wings get fixed up 100%.

man, reading that hurts my head....lol

Imma start calling you "Richdog".

Im in agreement. Emmerton is the 13th or 14th forward. Not the 12th.

The more I look at it, the more I laugh.  Nice one, Zomdog.

I just hope it doesn't mean we're relegated to mediocracy.

My only question is does Babdog think Newfdog is here to stay, or is the clock ticking for him to be replaced by Tatdog?  I know everyone here at Letsgodogs is getting tired of Newfdog....
