FireCaptain 563 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 Looks like he just wanted to go to the trainer's room for repairs after the takedown/fall. Ha.

MonkeyGoalie 14 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 I'm glad Utah doesn't do this but it would be interesting to see a grizzly bear walking around on the ice...lol
kook_10 1,705 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 I think the condor is still very endangered. It seems like a bad idea from the start.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 That horrid, squalling woman with the bad haircut scared the poor thing. He was waiting for her to die, and stop screaming so he could go have a snack. Poor thing. The announcers were funnier than anything.

cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 At one point, it looked like it was going to squat right on the ice. That clean-up would have been classic. Have they ever had Simon & Garfunkel sing the national Anthem? 1 55fan reacted to this
evilmrt 636 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 HAHA. I love how the bird just knew how to leave. Smarter than the handler and whoever decided to bring it into a hockey game
Mike J. 132 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 This is my local team hahaha, they were talking up the whole idea of having a live condor on the ice all week on the radio. I guess it wasn't such a spectacular idea. The announcers made the best of it though. I'm sure that will be the first and last time they ever do that. It's too bad I missed this game. GoalieManPat 1,007 Report post Posted February 11, 2013 Thats what you get for not bringing a Bald Eagle out during the national anthem. The Condor knew it and got out of there quickly.
jollymania 162 Report post Posted February 11, 2013 HAHA. I love how the bird just knew how to leave. Smarter than the handler and whoever decided to bring it into a hockey game I would stay and watch the hockey if i as the bird, it should be happy it got taken to a hockey game. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 11, 2013 Was the bird male or female? If I had a chance to head down the tunnel and hang out in the locker room, I'd do it in a heartbeat- and the men would probably be just as scared of me as they were of the bird. Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted February 11, 2013 I initially misread the thread title as "Condom runs away during Condors anthem".....and wondered what the hell was going on at that hockey game.
heyfolks 8 Report post Posted February 12, 2013 The Gulls - They are no more, other than B junior team. A good number of the Condor players are SoCal AAA types. 1 esteef reacted to this

Apparently, her name is "Queen Victoria". However, that might not help with determining gender. I think they're missing a tremendous marketing opportunity. As Jack Hannah would say: "Condor guano is hot!"
