The roller coaster continues. Only saw the third and OT, but hard to comprehend from that why the Red Wings looked so flat.

Special teams are a disaster. Need the PP to get a goal in the third with those chances when you aren't on your game otherwise.

Disappointing outcome against a rookie goalie. Did they even break 20 SOG?

nope just 18 for the game

This was a game we should have won, but we got sloppy, sleepy, and slow.  Maybe the team needs to start snorting lines of coke before the game to give them some extra pep in their step.

Yea!!! This is a plan I can get behind!!

I hate overtime with a passion. Ty Conklin must've snuck in the arena and put on Jimmy's jersey tonight. I'm over the whole injury bug too, give me Helm back damnit

Brunner didn't look good. Got burned on that pinch he made at the point that eventually led to the shorthanded goal.

awful, and i mean AWFUL special teams

horrible goaltending

gave up a shorty

bad line changes

clueless positioning

6 shots in the last two periods, even with multiple powerplays, on a shaky netminder in his FIRST NHL START

the team deserves to lose. period.

This was one of those games that drive you mad. We were off the last 2 days, so we were rested. Got off to a 2-0lead, then slowly and surely pissed it away. We didn't give up a lot of shots, nor did we take many. Just a flat game by the whole team.....

Special teams are an utter joke. PP, PK 4on4 - just horrible!

That was just hard to watch....  we cant hold a 2 goal lead for our lives.  the first 15-20 minutes were great than Im not sure what happened.

Shorthanded goal killed this team in the first.  St. Louis looked dead at that time.  After that, the Wings looked dead.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

3 goals after turnovers by Brunner. Bad night for him.

As soon as the Wings went up two early, I knew they would unravel. Sure enough, special teams and bone-headed coverage burns the Wings again. Soft loss, no killer instinct, fragile psyche.

Better luck Friday.

I knew we were in trouble when I saw Cleary getting in the top 6 yet again and then Abby as well.  Jeez - take a flyer on Tatar for one of those top 6 spots or even Eaves or Miller.  How many examples of s***ty hockey does Babcock need from Cleary?

Defensively Ericsson, Lashoff and Huskins have looked good, Quincey needs to sit and i mean for a long time. Kronwall needs to get his defensive game together just not cutting it right now.

Look what he has to work with..

Exactly.  Look at the D pairings and look at the second unit forwards.  An utter joke.

the special teams really need to get their act together...  to be honest I feel more comfortable with a 5-on-5 than us having a man advantage

Got beat by Jake Allen tonight, ouch. Howard was bad, defence was bad, forwards were too undermanned to do anything. Without Franzen, Bertuzzi and Helm I'm surprised we even generated 3 goals, thank Datsyuk for that. Quincey gotta go, I've been a fan of the guy and was happy when we got him last year but he's been an absolute train wreck. He falls down more then Danny and has been an anti-offensive defenceman. Speaking of Danny, he needs a game or two in the press box to get his head back in it. Then start him on the 4th line and let him work his way back up.

4th line was good tonight and Ericsson, uh that was about it. Hope Mrazek starts friday.

We can't keep giving away the easy points.  I have a bad bad feeling that come late march we're going to be wishing we had earned a lot of these points we are dropping.

What are you talking about? Lashoff was on another planet for the OT goal. He didn't even know what was happening.
