This just popped up after another video I was watching.  I thought it was hilarious.

hahaha thats awesome. Too bad if that happened today you would probably get a game misconduct and a subsequent hearing from Brendan Shanahan and 1 game suspension. You can just tell watching the games how much Micky Redmond loathes the direction the leagues heading in

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting players and  follows it up by the simultaneous undressing of the defence pairing. The goalie then gives up, and flops like a fish. The end result is a calm skate back to his bench  where he can bask in the praise of his multiple girlfriends from the motherland.

I don't ever remember that! Takes the Avs rivalry to new levels of awesome.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!  All thats missing is a troll-face on Draper

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

That was hilarious, Sakic was like "cmon really". Who was it that threw the water bottle after someone broke his blade off?

Welcome to the playoffs....where the games get better and the officiating gets worse.

Thanks for the link, that was quite amusing. It also brought back some great memories of the Wings' powerhouse teams of the late 90's.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

That was just awesome. That's the way hockey was then (fun), and as others have said, it most likely wouldn't fly today (unfun).

HAHAHA! OH MAN! This is great footage....and the stuff real rivalries are made of. I love it. Hoping some of this style of hockey can return when Buttman leaves.
