Nah, Yzerman was 28 when Bowman took over coaching, so I guess it's just between the ages of 26 and 27 when you cannot learn anything new...

Hudler seems to have to cooled off from his big opening in Calgary too. After netting 4 goals and 5 assist in his first 8 games, he has only 1 assist in his last 7.

That's one of the reasons Brunner atleast so far is looking like a vast improvement, he's less streaky.

Brunner looked really solid defensively against the Kings imo. You can definitely see he's starting to figure out defensive zone coverage and such.
Looking at the first 30 minutes, I'd say it was one of his three best performances this season.
