Strong effort by the Red Wings. Costly two points taken away by the officiating.
What a bitter loss. Completely screwed by two clowns trying to make themselves bigger than the game itself. Won't matter though because there's no accountability in the NHL.

Can't say I've ever seen a team get 3 5-on3's in one game. I'm not one to blame a loss on the refs, but a game like this makes it awful hard not to...

Thought we played real well tonight, withstood their physical play and even killed off 3:30 of 5on3. Would have loved a PP goal and the refs to at least make LA earn it.
Played hard and i feel they deserved the win.

Tough game to lose. Oh well, stuff happens. Pack up your gear and try not to get violated by officiating in San Jose tomorrow. I'm sure Holland will give league officiating a call and discuss how he feels about tonight. Bottom line, they outplayed us by a mile in the 3rd. Can't win games when you don't play the whole game.

Dats works his magic to get it across the blue line and dish it to one of his linemates only to watch them dump it in the corner. His talent is being wasted in the f***in corners. Meanwhile Tatar lamenting with muckers on his line too, to the point where he tries to do it all himself. Please Babcock, PUT TATAR ON DATSYUK'S LINE!!!

you know the officiating is total bull###t when a player who has a total of 190pim in 750
games gets 2 minors in the same game. the boys didnt deserve to lose that one. Good
effort spoilt by the zebras, how the hell all 4 missed that cheap shot by Penner is beyond
me and its those sort of blindside hits they are supposed to be cutting down on. I hope it
gets looked at by the NHL and Penner gets the ban it deserves. I doubt it thou.

3 instances of 5 on 3's lasting almost 2 full mins on each occurrence makes me wonder how the NHL can seriously think the state of the "game" is doing well? 
Officials 75' away from the play calling penalties when the guy 15' away doesn't have his hand up...really?
Then they put the whistles away when the Kings get the lead? I thought the manufactured "drama" was supposed to go both ways?

Abdelkader has zero touch when it comes to putting a shot on net or getting his stick on loose pucks
