Was that last year or this year? I may be confused, but i think i've seen one of our guys have a double sided winged wheel on the back.

I believe Jimmy is still wearing that one.  Before that he just had the brick wall (that is still behind that mural) with the words 'Let's Roll'.  I'm not sure if he had 'USA' on it as well.

That's the best I could find.  It was from the NHL Frozen Moments archive from last night's game.  I am trying to get into the video archive to see if I can screenshot it from pregame or something.

Well, this is from Game 1 of this year.  Clearly has the mural on it.  Let me check more recent games.

very nice! It looks like there may be some words on it too, I wonder what it is?  Someone email FSD and ask them to highlight it one night!

 

 

edit: Nevermind, it looks like it is still a tribute to the former Wings. I can rad Stefan Liv as the last name listed, so I am assuming Brad McCrimmon is first Salei is next, followed by Liv below that. I notice a Halo above to Winged Wheels, so it has to be what I am seeing....

It is definitely a tribute to the three former wings, it has a halo over top the center piece. I also noticed that he added snow to the mustang car parts of it. This may be what he was going to wear during the Winter Classic.

Ah.  I saw the halo but couldn't make out the text.  Certainly looks like the three names.  I wonder what the letters are below that.  Looks like a J and then an IV, and under that Howie.
