Hopefully something gets signed soon.

Mrazek is a couple years away likely.  If he turns out to be a showstopper in a year or 2, we have a nasty G tandem, which we haven't had in....?  Someone fill this blank_________

2007-2008.

2007-2008.

no. we had two pretty decent goalies in the regular season (ozzie and hasek both past their primes), with a super team in front of him, then he got real bad in the playoffs and ozzie took over and got hot at the right time.

They were both excellent in that season.

While I am glad to see him back I was hoping it would have been for $3.5-4 Million and 4 years tops. Oh well at least he's re-signed.

He isn't re-signed yet isn't he?

They have to sign him...they're stuck with a starting goalie who will never be the type of goalie who lift a now second rate team to any higher...he's like Kindl ... they gambled and lost...

Yep, because it's entire his fault when the team repeatedly gives up scoring chances in the center slot.

Not to mention we can't score...... This was Howard's second bad game of the year-the opener. he has held us in almost every game this year.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a bad game. The Wild were gifted numerous excellent scoring chances.
