Haha, I didn't see that but I like the way you think. It makes more sense for Babcock to at least try Z and Pavel together again now with Filppula back to center the second line. Nyquist is being wasted on the third line too.

Exactly why I proposed those exact lines last game. I just wish to follow that the 3rd line was Tatar-Andersson-Eaves again. That line sure hustled a lot.
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.
Tootoo needs a partner in crime that plays like him on the other side of Helm. Oh hey, we have Mitchell Callahan. Problem solved.

is it actually confirmed Tootoo won't be playing again? I hope we get news that he is in fact playing...

Because only when we here at LGW.COM realize and admit that Babs IS Yoda Of Hockey and WAY wiser than we could ever hope to be, will he stop reading our furum and creating lines just to spite us. So, suck it up and pay homage to him.

I like Eaves playing, but benching Tootoo is really stupid. Get Abdelkader or Cleary out. They are the two least productive forwards on the team right now by far. Even Emmerton's hustle and PK ability lately has more value.

I read the article from Helene St. James a while ago and can't find anything else on the topic to contradict what she said. So I don't really understand all of the "no Tootoo" talk.

What has Tootoo done to deserve being scratched? besides ofcourse, his job each and every shift.
Babcock's lineup changes are getting more and more perplexing. He scratches and/or demotes guys that are playing with energy and passion(Tootoo & Tatar) and keeps rewarding guys that are sleepwalking/not producing(Cleary & Abdelkader). Maybe Babs is taking bribes from opposing coaches to weaken the lineup? At least that would make some kind of sense....

really hope at least one of Dats, Hank, or Brunner gets one, they are all on long goal-scoring droughts- 8 games each for Brunner and Z, 11 for Pavs
