Outstanding win boys, this should swing some confidence and hopefully momentum. Helmer is due back next week for the Minnesota game, possibly but hopefully! I'm just in awe that some wanted to call Howard average earlier this season... my GOD he has been sharp lately.

No, the Canucks are pretenders who are benefiting from a messed up divisional system. They're built like a counterfeit 2008 Red Wings team without a Lidstrom-Rafalski dominant pairing.

and to be fair the Wings were playing some terrible hockey in that weekend series and the Jackets were on a roll winning against the Canucks, taking the Blackhawks to the brink and they had at least a point in the last 6 games going into that i think it is up to 10 or 11 now and Bobrovsky got another shutout
