Nice one Captain Hindsight.

I have found that a few of us around here live Red Wing fandom like its 50 First Dates...Someone had to of bought an Abdelkader jersey online after the game and laid $200 that Abby pots 15 more the rest of the year.

So, that really happened, Abdelkader DID get a 'trick? I thought I just had some really absurd dream last night and I had to come here to see if it was real....

But I know that Detroit getting three fighting majors by three different players in the same game wasn't real. It couldn't be.

Kelly Chase kept commenting during the NHLN broadcast of the Wings/Ducks game that the Ducks had an emotional letdown after the Chicago game. Boudreau was having none of that:

Riding high on its win Wednesday against Chicago and the return of Corey Perry from a four-game suspension, Anaheim's franchise-record 13-game home winning streak ended in a thud, as did a League-high 12-game point streak. It was their first regulation loss since Feb. 25 and first home loss since Jan. 25, but no one was pointing to the Chicago game as a factor.

"To me that's an excuse," Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau said. "I believe it's an excuse. I don't know why it would be a letdown game. You have a whole 24 hours in between and you're playing the Detroit Red Wings, for crying out loud. I would be jacked up just so I didn't hear their fans cheers in our building. That's embarrassing enough."

Because I'm the only one who does it.

If YOU keep it up, you will be the one who won't get another informal warning.   Yep.  This is about YOU.

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I like the quote they had about someone playing piano and someone pulling it.  Seems like Pasha and Abby were playing a duet, and I don't think it was "Chopsticks".

Holy effing ess. Tell me this wasn't a national broadcast. Cuz if it was, I'm gonna feel really, really lousy about missing it.

How great would it be if Abdelkader and Franzen suddenly became premier power-forwards?

Just finished watching the highlights. Loved our first goal. Fasth seemed surprised/confused. Not often does a Red Wing cut to the crease with purpose like that.

I can't find a permanent link, but has anyone watched the highlights on TSN? When saying Fasth, the commentator makes a flatulence sound. Very odd.

Fantastic game. That was so awesome being there and seeing Abby get the Hatty. Then Smith kicking Getzlaf's ass too! Couldn't have picked a better game to attend. LGW!

This whole clip is a great metaphor for the Wings.

Ducks fans are not so hot on Ryan right now---not because of this fight (though those on HFBoards said they knew that Ryan was going to get pounded), but rather because he doesn't show much effort and most often just takes a harmless wrist shot.

I feeling a loss (because when I'm feeling a win we lose)

Keep feeling like a loss.

The Wings were all over the puck last night, best complete game they have played in a long time.
