As much as everyone is making about Brunner not scoring in the past 12 games, its not like he's not getting assists.

The longest he's gone all season without a pt is 3 games. Offensively he's probably been the most consistent player on the team.

That's what I'm saying. You wanna cut dead weight, Brunner shouldn't be anywhere near the crosshairs...

Just look at how he hangs his sunglasses from his banana hammock in that last pic.  This guyf****** rules. --kipwinger

If Brun is a scratch, he must just need a rest or not be feeling well or have a minor injury they'd rather not disclose or is allergic to waterfowl or something because he hasn't been playing badly.

No one has been so terribly bad that they would have to sit them to teach them a lesson.

I think it's more of the rest factor. That, plus he is a rookie and a "soft" Euro so he could have been a prime target for any shenanigans. Pavs has shown he can more than handle himself (right Perry?). It would be very duck-like to go after a non-fighter.

Or maybe Brunner has been scratched because of low TV ratings

WTF is the hate on Brunner for?  They scratch Nyquist, Brunner, Tatar? Yet they kept Cleary, Franzen, Abby (yes I know he had a hatty but until that point?)...

There's no I in team, but there's a U in c***, so don't be little jealous c***s

Is it just me, or did Keating have a bit of a smile and also sound happier (or maybe relieved that Murph was axed and not him?)

No, dress Edzo. Like I said in the other thread, he'd have an apoplectic stroke if he had to call a game favorably for the Wings. One game (heck maybe one period) and he'd be off to the ER.

Then why keep Eaves in the line-up who is wearing a full shield to protect his jaw. He can't be involved in any shenanigans at all. There is no good justification to make Brunner a healthy scratch and I don't any reports of him being potentially injured.

Brunner being scratched barring an injury is horse s***.  Lets sign Dekeyser too and scratch him when he has 2 assists in every 3 games in 12 but god forbid no goals.  How do we not hate on Babcock at least a little this year?  He's getting on my nerves.

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

Cleary skates the puck right into a big hit. Duh!

My post was partly a swipe at the soft Euro stereotype.

Nice pick by Nyquist there. Too bad Emmerton couldn't convert. Keep the pressure.

Early PP. Make it count guys!

Mule doesn't hang in there screening the goalie like Cleary does.

I love how our leading scorer is a healthy scratch.

Gotta love it when we get pinned into our own end on the PP. Yeesh.

EDIT: Well, damn. Cleary scores. Badmouthing our PP is good!
