wings_fanatic 677 Report post Posted April 6, 2013 Babs said last night that he wasn't sure if Hank would be available Sunday because his groin was sore at the end of the game last night, so this must be precautionary in case Hank can't play tomorrow. My guess is Hank takes part in pre-game skate and makes a decision for as to whether or not he plays. If he can't play, Shehan plays. GR's playing in British Columbia, so he had to be called up today. Neither Wings nor Blues practiced today. Both played Thu/Fri. Wings exhausted 4-discretionary-call-up rule w/ 14/23/63/65 on-paper demotions, but can recall unlimited players due to "emergencies." The Wings could have the entirety of their AHL prospects on the roster if they wished.While there are no roster limits, I believe there are a limited number of call ups they can use (4?) unless there is an emergency such as a fear that they will not have enough roster players due to injury.
