GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 There is absolutely NO team in the league that does more cheapshotting after the whistle. And NO team softer than the Red Wings.
hankzet40 233 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 This is sad. Biggest game of the year, three chances on the PP and nothing.
gowings00 545 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Second drawn penalty by Abby today. Wait a second.....are you saying there's a correlation to playing hard, crashing the net, pissing the other team off and earning a PP? I thought it was because of referee bias. Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 There is absolutely NO team in the league that does more cheapshotting after the whistle. Penguins are right there with them. And the Flyers, but the Flyers are hilarious. 1 Vladifan reacted to this
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Refs miss "too many men" calls all the time. I don't hear anyone complaining when we get away with one. And this season, bad line changes, has been something of an art for the Red Wings. If it's there, call it. Blues have done well on the PK today. We can complain about our PP being inept, but the Blues' PK is solid and deserved credit where it is due.
datterberg1340 626 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 We no score here, I say F-you Jobu...I do it myself! awesome Major League reference haha now if only the Wings would get as pissed and determined as Pedro Cerrano

Guest Playmaker Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Very well said. BOTH teams and their fanbases deserve a game called fairly, consistently, and evenly. I don't want to lose due to weak officiating, but I don't want to win because of it either. If it's a penalty, call it both ways all the time. If it's not, don't. Any of the four officials on the ice can call a too many men. So do they all hate the Wings? So the Wings have never had too many men on the ice and it wasn't caught by an official? 1 kipwinger reacted to this
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 We don't have anyone who knows how to attack the net. Maybe we can sign Wayne Rooney in the offseason. 1 kipwinger reacted to this

That didn't happen on the call today.
Yeti 244 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 ok... no more announcements on game days. For a big game, they are playing like they dont care
PuckY18 13 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Yeah, this is somewhat of a "must win" but I don't see the effort I'd expect to see in a team needing two points. They just need to get some traffic, and play more below the dots. To throw the word "effort" out there like it's no big deal is a pretty big claim. I think it's tossed around far too often and most of the time, it's just someone saying something for the sake of saying something. You really think these guys aren't trying? haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 7, 2013 Wings aren't getting shots from very high percentage areas. Blues aren't doing a great job either but they're definitely getting there more than the Wings. 1 TheXym reacted to this
