Every professional athlete wants to win. Do you think they want to lose? It's a team full of mediocre plugs, rookies, and Datsyuk and Zetterberg. They get outclassed in these games because the opposing teams actual deal in real talent, and put together competitive lineups. We, on the other hand, always look for the cheap "if" solution. "Well if Miller can find some offense...". "Well if Abby can play like Homer...". "Well if Kronwall can tighten up defensively...". And on and on and on.

You're right, no one wants to lose. What you don't seem to want to accept is that not everyone is willing to do what is needed to win. The Wings look flat, complacent, and sloppy, top to bottom. Its all avoidable, but they seem indifferent to changing their ways.

If it was all about the "plugs" in the roster, that would be one thing. Our best players have been our most inconsistent lately, and have made some of our most costly mistakes. This team isn't with it right now, when they need to be their most together. That means everyone. Not just the replacements or "plugs".
