I always felt we had a distinct advantage on 4-4 hockey due to our puck-possession game.

We aren't a puck possession team anymore though : l

So didn't want San Jose to get a point out of this game....

Who cares. We only need to care about ourselves, as long as we get points it doesn't matter who else does.

He's gone from pre-season Calder Trophy favourite to whipping boy.  Classic LGW superstar-or-useless mentality.

Watching peoples' comments around here, it's like Jiri Fischer all over again.  His level of play this season is no surprise and you can rest assured that he'll get much, much better over the coming years.

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

Nice dangle by Franzen, but he's just not as shifty as Dats.
