I really wish we had a goalie that could play the puck. It drives me nuts that Howard can't do it.

I used to cut him some slack cause I thought he was just nervous being a young goalie in the big leagues.

But my god this kid just flat out sucks at it!

I totally agree, seems like everybody gives Howard a break, I don't know why because he is a bad goalie,period.

Bulls***. I can count the number of bad games he's had this season on one hand. Goaltending is not this team's problem by any stretch of the imagination.

0-3 against the Calgary Flames.

1-3-1 against Columbus. The Jackets are improved, but three points out of ten is unacceptable when you are competing directly for playoff positioning.

It's hard to fathom how that third period happens given the circumstances. Man, does this team ever need a goal-scorer. When's the last time they scored three goals in a game?

Now they almost have to sweep the home games next week because of this loss.

Howard had a Sh** night. But he is a good goalie & he has been there almost EVERY game he has played this year. He absolutely contributed to this loss, but we are on the edge of the post season for soooooooo many reasons that have nothing to do with him. We have way too many 4 liners, throughout this line up; And that... is the GM's responsibility to address. as it was last year & the year before.

I almost hope that they are out of playoff contention for the final home game of the season season, so that they get booed off the ice by the fans in Detroit. Because that is what they deserve for this season.

I am super mad. Much like many of you on here. I mean, I am probably madder then I should be about a hockey game.

But comments like these are sad and embarrassing. This team does not deserve to get booed off ice. They have made the playoffs for 20 straight years and have given all of us, including you, something to cheer about more then any other franchise in the NHL. This team works harder on a nightly basis then many teams from the past red wings team. This will happen with young kids in the lineup. We dominated tonight and 2 stupid mistakes lost us this game. it sucks.

Every game lately has been important. And he's been great in all of them. Allowing 3 goals is hardly s***ting on your team. Sooner or later this offense will have to bail Howie out in a game. That's happened like once this season that I can recall. Scoring 1-2 goals per game isn't good enough.

Nah.

Holland will sign some washed up trash in the offseason, and be afraid to "overpay" for anyone else.

This team won't look much different next year, except we'll be a little younger with Cleary and Bertuzzi gone, and replaced by GR players.

But there still won't be any sniper or big, physical forwards here.

Sport's announcer"s keep saying game after game it seems that the wing's are struggling to find the back of the net. I think they need to look at that statement. Tonight is a good example. The Flames has a great goalie and he stopped many shot's on goal. Made some awesome plays unlike our goalie. Even if we make it to the playoffs we don't stand a chance with Howard !!!!!!!!
