Kopitar on the PK minus his stick, did a soccer sliding tackle to kick the puck out of the zone.

i wonder if our guys will do that

He's awesome. Shouldn't that have been a penalty when the BJ player swept his stick into the corner when it was laying on the ice?

This kings game is a roller coaster to me, but they're up again!

For the record I would be cheering for them regardless of the circumstance as they've been my second farvorite team for years (used to live there)

That was an awesome play, but 20 seconds earlier he tried to kick it out, instead of making the safe play and sweeping it with his hand, and completely whiffed.
He made up for it with the "slide tackle"

Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

I cant remember what game I was watching a couple days ago maybe the flyers, but one team was shorthanded and a guy lost his stick and the other team's player swept it out of the lane and I thought the same thing, the announcers didnt make anything of it though.

Get me a real fourth line Kenny!

I think it was broken

If Columbus didn't have bobrovski they would be so much worse. Funny that he was bryzgalov's backup last year

3 very important games all late night affecting the Wings. Time will tell....

No game was more important for the Wings than April 25th 1964.

I messed up the date and hit April 24th, apparently there was a major UFO sighting that day!

Matt Greene in his first game back from a season long injury is more physical than anyone on the Wings blueline.

Man I'd love for the Wings to have someone who knocks guys around like he does.

Kings win.

Chippy right to the end of the game.

LGW after 1 loss is irrational, after a few in a row it becomes quite comical, 22 playoff appearances in a row and 4 cups in that time and still going strong. Relaxxxxx !!

He was grabbed from behind and wasn't ready. Certainly he's not scared of Dubinsky.

Doughty certainly didn't look good covering his head but I agree. Doesn't Dubinsky lose every legit fight he's ever in?

Game over.  Kings won.  No need for Doughty to turn around and get suckered by a guy who grabbed him from behind.  Just maybe could've looked more dignified doing it.

If St. Louis can beat Dallas tomorrow, we're actually in ok shape.

Dubinsky gets a 10 minute match penalty for "deliberate injury?"

I guess they just mean running around at the end of the game trying to beat on someone?

Oh, I wasn't implying he was scared of Dubinsky. More than anything else kind of enjoying the fact that Columbus as a whole looked agitated after a loss. Doughty just looked funny covering his head, don't really blame him haha

I don't want this prestigious franchise to go out being swept by their biggest rivals in history.

I've given Lakers fans a whole load of s*** for their dogfight with Utah to earn the right to a first round exit to the Spurs, their biggest rivals for the past 20 years.

I don't want to wake up knowing that I'm a hypocrite.

I don't want to.

Yes, the Wings have been swept before. In fact, they bent over to the Hawks in sweeping fashion in 1970. I'll never forget that. Ever.
