Guest irishock Report post Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) You don't have to be Alex Jones to believe this whole Boston fiasco is BS. A 19 year old kid with no military experience flees a shootout, dodging bullets, while travelling in a Honda Civic with the license plate "Terrroist-1"? And then we're told that 2 years ago the Russians had told the US about this kid who was going to blow s*** up, but then apparently they didn't know who this guy was when his name spread around? And why hell is the entire country applauding the Boston PD? This 19 year old kid held the entire city hostage for 48 hours. Christ. They had a chance to put a bullet in his dome and didn't. Last report I read said he fired 30+ times assuming fully auto weapon and the cops didn't shoot him? Something is fishy. Kind of like the OK city bomb awhile back. The dude killed idk how many with his bomb but got pulled over while driving away? Didn't attempt to flee or kill the coo or anything? But who knows. Every news report you read is different. What these people fail to realize is yes while these things hurt it allows us to remind the world how strong and united we are. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted April 20, 2013 The suspect was shot and wounded. He escaped and was a block outside their perimeter. And it's a lot easier to hide in a big city than you think. Not to mention, he only fled authorities for what, 28 hours? Barely a day. They knew where he was, but short of firebombing the area, you don't take unnecessary risks with your personnel. As long as they had him cornered, so to speak, they had time. 3 55fan, esteef and Resetti reacted to this
Guest irishock Report post Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) I wouldn't spend 333 million a day dealing with a guy with grenades who knows he's going to be dead. There's no way you let this kid get away after you killed brother the same night. No way. Edited April 20, 2013 by irishock

All it did was prove that the US gov can march around helicopters and military vehicles in the streets of America scoff-free. The kid also was said to have escaped "like a scene in a movie" by NBC, now if that doesn't sound weird I don't know what does.

There's no way you let this kid get away after you killed brother the same night. No way. No, but you would spend 333 million to ensure he didn't go around setting up more explosives in random places to kill more people. If you tracked the play by play on the Boston police scanner yesterday, there had to have been 20-30 reports of suspicious items, triggers, other things. And you can't put a price tag on public safety or crowd stability. 1 55fan reacted to this
