I was at the Canucks/Red Wings game on Saturday. I saw Ian White after the game and he looked like he was about 5' 7", 150 lbs soaking wet. He's listed as 5' 10", 191 lbs.

It's hard to tell from that photo because there's no scale.  You should have held your thumb up for reference.

GMRwings:  "Well, in other civilized countries, 16 years old isn't considered underage.  For instance, I believe the age of consent is 16 in Canada.  There's some US states where it's 16 as well.

Get off the high horse.  Not like she was 10."

"Some girls are 17 even though they look 25."

Tie Domi was listed as 5'10 and 5'11 from what I believe, and there was no way he was taller than 5'8.

I think teams sometimes embellish weight too.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

ya keeping him here after the trade deadline to play one game rather than getting a draft pick was the right choice after all :sigh:

It doesn't help that his suit fits him like absolute s***. He looks like a twelve year-old who had to borrow his dad's.

Doesn't help that he is clearly wearing the wrong size suit. He is swimming in that thing. Must be borrowing it from Bert.

General rule of thumb for the "official" NHL players measurements:

height is 1.5'' less than listed,

weight is 15 lbs less than listed.

I think they are weighted and measured in skates and full gear on :)

That makes jarnkrok about 5-8/140 BTW....... which may be right.

Is there a kickstarter campaign for Jakub Kindl to never play another NHL game?
