2 Big Time games to tonight for us:

LA at MIN 8:00 eastern

DAL at SJ 10:00

We need an LA win in reg and a SJ win preferrably in reg

I still want a chance to clinch a playoff berth at home:

Win our next 2... Dallas loses tonight and Dallas beats CBJ in reg at home on Thursday

Blues can def afford to lose for us too. Still not impossible to jump to 6th. That would give us Nucks first round which ill take all day. Maybe Ducks would be better matchup though. Their goaltending is rough.

are we cheering for Pavelski again?

I don't think I can cheer for either Joe on that team.

Trying not to get my hopes up for the teams around us to lose.

For one, it's better to just assume they'll all win to spare the disappointment, and also I want the Wings to get in through force of their own instead of other teams failing to let us in.

But yeah, go SJ and LA.

interesting. Bernier starting for the kings tonight, so probably means Quick against the Wings on Wednesday.

wonder why. although Bernier's composite numbers are actually better than quick's i think

I think the Stars will win tonight, the Sharks are incapable of doing anything that is beneficial for the Wings, part of why I hate them so much. Neimi goes god mode whenever he faces us but I'd put money on him being swiss cheese tonight (just like he was against Cbus)

I think the Kings will win in regulation though, hopefully Minny gives the Kings all they can handle so they are nice and tired for Wednesday night at the Joe.

I'm praying to the hockey gods to help us out tonight because (If I'm not mistaken) a SJS and LAK win tonight coupled with a Detroit win on Wednesday puts us in 7th, which would be huge.

I wouldn't be surprised if neither of these games go our way but I would be happy if at least one does. Preferably Minny loses because we can always take care of Dallas on our own if it comes down to that.

are we cheering for Pavelski again?

No, we're cheering for antti "vezina" niemi because he's easily the best goalie in the league.

Sorry I've been listening to SJ announcers too much

Me either, that's why I'm hoping for Stewie to get an unassisted hatty

Flipped over to the Pens game for a sec. Same old ridiculous penalties in their favor. And their commentators are stupendous homers as usual.

How funny would it be if we take that 8th spot to bump Columbus out and they have beaten us four times this season. I think that would be a big f*** you to them.
