Let's male this an 8+ game winning streak!!

Shame on everyone who gave up on this team. This is the most I've been excited about our players since 2009. For a team with bertuzzi and Tatar ready to jump on the ice, and Helm not far off, I think we have a shot if we can beat Anaheim and rife the wave of momentum. Babcock is a coach that can take a team like this far. BELIEVE

Proud of this team and how they won out when they needed to.

Gave me a heart attack watching the highlights on nhl.com every morning here.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Suck it *******!!!

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

Words can't describe how happy I am that Columbus didn't make it.  Especially since they won out.

So happy those idiots are suffering right now, despite all their hard work.

Good luck keeping Gaborik!

Per Babs in the post game interview, "If not for Dan Cleary, we don't make the playoffs".

Fixed.   ;)

Man, those Oilers.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!" - Kierkegaard

Just watched the game.

I LOVE this team. The way they've been playing the last 5-10 games has been fantastic to watch. Everyone's stepping up, and it's been lead by Z, Dats, Mule and Howard. Feels good to have one's faith in the team and players rewarded, and I think we have a chance against the Ducks. We're underdogs but crazier upsets have happened. This team, right now, is better than a 7th seed. Get Tatar in there above Cleary and ride this wave we're on.

Long time lurker, seldom poster.
Beating Dallas to clinch was awesome.  Wings are the 7th seed facing the quacks.  Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.
Wings still have to travel to the West coast in a best of seven.  It's a different beast.
But I will say Wings in 6.

Someone should make a music video with Detroit winning there last 4 games to make the playoffs. Using the track Don't Stop Believing. I'm proud of the Detroit Red Wings for not giving up and making it to the playoffs. Had we lost one game during this streak we wouldn't have made it. Win or Lose in the playoffs I'm proud of the Red Wings for what they did to make these years playoffs.

All I wanted them to do is make the playoffs.  Now everthing else is gravy.

I would have rather seen Columbus make the playoffs than Minnesota.  Columbus has done what it needed to do to build a winning team.  They have a star goaltender, a good solid young core and draft picks up the wazoo to deal with and have made good solid trades.  I don't get the Columbus hate.

Jackets deserved it over Wild. Mainly believe that because I wanted to see Parise n' Suter watch us move on without em

I was more inclined to favor Columbus making it over Minnesota. But as a U of M fan, I'm still delighted that people in Columbus are suffering.

So proud of our boys.  This past week of hockey was nerve-wracking, stressful, and exhilarating all rolled into one.  Next week will be all those emotions magnified x 10.  Can't wait!  LGRW!!!
