Get Bert in there. I am beyond sick of hugging the perimer in the o-zone.

would love to see gus/andersson/bert as the 3rd line. they need to get some experience on that line badly. and size

Bert needs to play and hopefully help our forecheck. I bench Toots or Eaves. I love the toots but his stupid penalty cost us a G...

Missing Helm like crazy but it seems like this year is a reach for 43, unless i missed something

0-3 means a must-win game. This one would just be nice.

The penalty called on him was a make-up call, one issued because the refs missed Tootoo's blatant trip on Cogliano. The latter would have been in on a breakaway if not for said impediment.

Series doesn't start until the road team wins a game. Or someone hullabaloo crap like that. Just win.

I'm REALLY nervous about the ice conditions tonight. Someone in the last GDT said it looked like they were skating through semen, and although I lol'd I think that description is scary accurate. I know they had a concert there last night, so I fear the ice could be even worse for tonight's game...

That was me! I'M FAMOUS!!!

Srsly tho, worst ice ever. I think we completed all of, like, eight passes in that game. Which would be OK if we were one of those teams that likes to do its damage below the hash marks, as opposed to our *pass-pass-pass around the perimer, pass-pass-pass some more, OH BOY HERE COMES THE BOOM [insert a wrist shot so weak and slow it actually makes you cringe] etc.* routine. meh!

0-3 means a must-win game. This one would just be nice.

You are a robot.

EDIT: I mean that was me with the semen thing. Not the concert. Though I do write and perform music. I also enjoy long walks along the beach.

So Bert in for Brunner? I like Brunner a lot, but I can dig it.

And if you're not happy drunk tonight, Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset?

I love Brunner, but considering he has never played this much hockey in one year before, let alone at this level, im not sure he is a key to success in this particular playoff year. i would love to be wrong, however. i think he could do much better if he simplifies his game and stops trying to dance around players when he enters the zone and gets the puck taken away ever time. i just feel like bert could be much more valuable on that right right now than brunner can.

havign said that, if that move were made it could open a big can of worms and make brunner wanna go elsewhere next season. maybe the best option would be to bump brunner down to play with eaves and emdog.

Teemu Selanne on facing #RedWings in playoffs: "They're way easier to play now that Lidstrom is not in the lineup."

Hopefully our team can see this quote, take it to heart and he can get Kronwalled lol.

I guess Helene got a lot of responses lol

Helene St. James @HeleneStJames 4m

Good grief, the #RedWings themselves would agree Nicklas Lidstrom was a huge loss. That is what Selanne's point was.
