Case in point, right at the end of the period, Samuelsson was skating in between the circles, gets in the slot and passes the puck back and to the boards to Datsyuk, who shoots from there. WHY NOT SHOOT FROM 7 feet away or go hard to the net?

They are basically playing zone defense, and the wings puck movement is really bad. Long slow passes that hiller can track in his sleep.
