Howard left out to dry
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

Don't they typically blow that dead?

The Hawks are really good, but the Wings can be way better. They are going to have to find that desperation on Saturday because this was ugly.

Did we leave our legs in Anaheim?

And their hearts.

Still shaking my head at Cleary. Two terrible defensive reads on his part in the past two games have led to opposing players being left wide open in scoring areas.

I've never hoped for any guy to be hurt but every time I hear of Cleary injuring himself (like this morning), I think there's hope. Too bad he's such a tough son of a b*#!#*.

We are going to need 4 of our very best to beat these guys and this isnt it thats for sure..hung around for a while and then fell asleep at the wheel..needed to make those pp's to count early.

LGW after 1 loss is irrational, after a few in a row it becomes quite comical, 22 playoff appearances in a row and 4 cups in that time and still going strong. Relaxxxxx !!

Is this part of the overall strategy?  Give them the first game, let them feel arrogant and confident, then we turn it on and win game 2, get out of Chicago with a split ??

Well the Wings have been outplayed 2/3 of the game. Howard left alone, stupid defensive mistakes and turnovers will get you burned. Lots to work on for game 2 unless there is some major comeback.

Yup.  Usually if the puck is on the back of the net, the whistle goes and the faceoff is outside the zone.

What an embarrassment not that we didn't know it would happen though. But on the 3rd goal should play have been whistled? See that play a million times and always whistled down.
