Tootoo needs to be inserted back into the line up, he brings a lot of energy. Something the team was lacking in game 1.

I think the Red Wings will definitely be better today. Question still remains is their high-end game enough to overcome Chicago's skill and depth? This is practically a must-win because winning four of five otherwise will be near impossible against the Hawks.

Clear the zone! Go Wings!

Whether Drew Miller plays for #RedWings in Game 2 TBD after warm-ups. If he's in, either Todd Bertuzzi or Patrick Eaves out on 4th line.

from Helene St James. not sure how much of an upgrade Miller...

I'm expecting a better effort out of the Wings. If Jimmy plays as well as he did in Game 1 we'll have a great chance to steal home ice.

Actually gonna be home for this one! Bring the effort, boys. We can steal a couple this series and make 'em sweat.

I don't get why he has not been playing. He played in the last 4 games before the playoffs, played in game 1, and that was it. If babcock trusted him in the must win game before the playoffs, why not now? I am not saying we are going to win if he is in the lineup, but he plays a style of hockey that fits for the playoffs.

Edit: Also tatar should be up gaining playoff expereince.

Obviously goes without saying this is an insanely huge game. One of the rare times that a game 2 is basically a must win. God I hope this one doesn't go down to the wire. A 4-1 or 4-2 Wings victory would be perfect! GO RED WINGS!!!!

I thought the 3-1 was a game prediction, not the record for afternoon games.

Yep.

Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC 36s

No changes Chicago. Detroit inserts Miller for Bertuzzi.

The expectation is not to win every game or playoff series, but to compete. Send this series back to Detroit 1-1!

Bertuzzi just doesn't fit on the 4th line. I like Miller there for speed and on the PK. Next season will ideally be even better with Andersson replacing Emmerton at center there and Helm returning.
