We will show Chicago what a real madhouse looks like. Even when the Blackhawks were winning, that building was so quiet.

Win tonight and the collar will really start to tighten on some of these Chicago players. LGRW!

Alright, boys. Since we heard so much before the playoffs started about how deep Chicago is with goaltending, let's chase crawford and let 'em show off that depth! I know Babs doesn't want high scoring games, but I'd take a 7-3 victory tonight just so we can see that top-notch backup Emery.

Please, Please Please a different broadcasting crew tonight. I can't take that nasally play by play guy anymore. Seriously, waffleboarding? Only reason I'm not watching this game on mute tonight is because it's at the Joe. Hopefully the crowd at the Joe can drown these clowns out.

After the first two games, i think we will see a much tigher, even paced game where both teams play solid. I suspect the Wings will have the advantage from momentum and home ice and will win 3-2. My gut tells me Pavs has a great game today for the Wings and the Powerplay solves the Hawks PK. Either way... GO WINGS ill be at the joe cheering!! :)

This is a very important game because I feel that with a win tonight, we would make Chicago face adversity for the first time this season. The Red Wings as a franchise have gone through some insane amounts of adversity this season, all while succeeding when looking it in the eyes. The Blackhawks don't know what adversity is right now. I feel take this game and take the series lead, and we're going to start setting them into a tail-spin. Game 2 was outstanding, but this is going to be the movement maker. Take this game boys, show them that they aren't as good as they think and that the hockey world has underestimated us. We are for real!

The Joe better be on fire tonight!! Wish I could really hear the game but I came back to my house with internet and cable magically out. They can't get a guy over to the house to fix the cabling until Wednesday... UGH. Guess i'll be watching from the bar tonight.

Do you have access to CBC? Its only marginally better than NBC as Bob Cole is 80 and doesn't know players names or in some cases what is going on, but I'll take his senility over Ed Olcyzk's biased commentary any day.

Did anyone get to hear Micky Redmond on 101WRIF last week? He had brought up that Eddie Olcyzk is the equivalent of him with the Wings, a complete homer color guy. He didn't understand how they would even allow him to be on the broadcast with his absolute bias, and it completely shows. Another funny segment was when they had asked ol Micky if he found himself doing color when he watches the Wings at home. He basically said that he does his own color, which requires him to shut his windows and doors haha.

best of 5 series is about to start. wings won last game, but it was lo-o-ong time ago (two days in playoff is a long-long time), however it is not long enough to loose momentum.

Z with a goal and assist, Dats is as usual, Mule plays like he usually does against dives, Cleary is workhorse, Abby with hits and a score;

Toews with 26 shifts, 20 min of icetime, 12 whines; cries a river where Hossa attempts to dive, hurts himself doing so, but will return...

GO WINGS GO!!

Was just about to post the same thing. If the wings can put chicago on their heels, I dont think they will be able to recover.

Unfortunaly I'm not able watch both of our homegames live but every time that happend this year in the playoffs the Wings won. So I'm quite otimistic the guys will do well without my support. ;) Whatever happens : Let's GO Wings ! Make it 2:1 !

I started off thinking that we were going down in 4 or 5 games. After seeing the wings come out and just man handle Chicago the way they did in game 2, I now think we are much more capable than I originally thought. Win or lose, if we play that way, I will be very proud of this team and will be looking soooo forward to next year.

Winning game 3 can really put the Hawks on the ledge in my book. They haven't faced any adversity all year. So far this is the first real adversity, and putting them down in a series everybody (including me) thought they'd skate through (no pun intended), I'd love to see them squirm.

GO WINGS! LOVE IT! Play hard, I can live with losing if it's our best effort. Chicago is the best, I can handle losing to the best.
