That period was an abortion.

Obviously, the next goal is huge.  If Chicago scores the next goal, we should goon it up immediately.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Outside of one shot off the post, Datsyuk and Franzen have been invisible. We aren't going to beat the Hawks relying on our 3rd and 4th lines. The big boys need to wake up, because clearly Chicago's have.

Chicago is playing the same way they have all series Detroit isn't competing its obvious easy adjustment. Take the body make them scared that's how we won 3 games

Yeah, but then we'd be just like Chicago.

No, we'd be like most teams in that situation.

Bolland and Bickell have been acting tough all series.  It's like neutering a dog.  They act differently afterwards.

I remembered why I avoid this place. You people are like a yo-yo, constantly up and down. You can't sweep every series and winning 4 games in a row in the playoffs isn't easy.

Yeah, I'd reunite Datsyuk and Zetterberg here.  We need more goals out of those two.

My only comment so far is how is it ok to pester the guy you just tripped and poke him with a stick after the whistle? Should have given him a double minor and Abby should have only got 2 mins.

People are upset because the Wings fell apart in that period.

We've given Chicago several cheap goals here, instead of having them earn it.

I agree, I'd love to see them pummeled.

This is also true. The first half of the 2nd period we were looking normal, but then Chicago scored and we backed off. We need to get back to getting the puck in deep and winning battles. This game is far from over, so many times in the playoffs teams have choked under the pressure. Why can't Chicago join that list?

need to play much more simpler in our end and much more direct in theirs, we are wayyyy too passive, not going to net, passing up shots,

DRIVE TO THE NET

come on Wings, let's get it done. Still have faith.

I would call tatar up and have him put on flips sweater and finish the game. :)

I flipped to the Incredibles during intermission. Don't want to watch the Blackhawks slobberfest that is forthcoming.

I'd put them back together on the powerplay. Even strength I don't think Fil with Cleary and Franzen would generate a whole lot matched against Toews.

The slurps I'm hearing between the announcers saying Toews' name are off-putting. This is a family show, fercrissakes.

Can Tatar replace Fil next year and we keep Dano for cheap? My soft spot for him as a fellow Newf isn't looking so bad right now. Some how, some way he's playing great

I knew you had a good face.   :cheesy:

Making stupid penalties brought the Hawks on the brick of elimination and we're acting exactly the same?

Come on guys, you're better than that

Datsyuk blew the clearing chance there.  Don't see a mistake from him too often.

Drew Miller can stay in the box.  That hurt us big time.

Datsyuk is looking a bit unfocused tonight.  For him, anyway.  A big scary.  :ninja:

Bad calls. Then interference on the face-offs. Both PP goals had interference off the first face offs. Great NON-calls, Doc.
