I still wish this game was tomorrow.  Not healthy for us or the Wings to sit around for two days thinking about this game.

Especially if you live here in Chicago. :glare:

Just give dekeyser a few shots and send him out there next game for smith.

never happens if they called the high stick that hit smith that eventually lead to the 2nd goal. just saying refs between that missed call and a penalty shot you decided this game

Was that a high stick?  I didn't see a replay of that yet.

He jerked his head back, but that could be embellishment for all I know.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Even with no hands at all, he's still better than Smith defensively.

Or send the headless horseman out there.

I'll certainly take a one armed Dekeyser over a guy who is wearing clown shoes on every other shift.

Gotta laugh at Keith Jones...Penalty shot was the "right call".

Franzen?

Franzen may have been the worst player on the ice tonight.  Except for maybe two hits you could literally see him not trying/not reaching for the puck/not finishing most checks/not being in position to pick up the puck/ad nauseum,   To me, he's the loser of the night because he DOES have all that talent and doesn't bother pushing with it.  I.do.not.like.him.

Hey, just put white in for smith... It can't be any worse... Its an impossibility.

Sadly, no. Offside (ice hockey) For other uses, see Offside (disambiguation). In ice hockey, a play is offside if a player on the attacking team enters the attacking zone before the puck does, unless the puck is sent or carried there by a defending player. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

Was it not batted out of the zone by a Wings player and brought back into the zone by a Hawks player while Hawks were still in the zone, thus being offsides? Anyone have a video or gif available?

the refs called every one of the hawks embellishments. i guess in this day and age you need to take some acting classes in the off season to get the upper hand in the playoffs

even if it was missed, kane got hich sticked earlier and it wasn't called. But the penalty shot call didn't have an equal, it stuck out as a terrible call as did the franzen call.

Played bad in all 3rd periods these playoffs and had two bad games in these elimination games. The whole team choked but Howard did as well

Explain how he played bad in the 3rd tonight. A guy is left all alone out front with enough time to make a sandwhich, stickhandle, and shoot and puts it just inside the post. Then he makes the initial two saves on the 2nd while Smith is standing right there doing nothing to put off Bickell while he stuffs it in on the third attempt. Then he got beat on a good move on a penalty shot. If this is playing bad you have unrealistic expectations. Would you rather he be letting in shots like Anderssons goal tonight? Good lord. Watch the plays instead of looking at the box score and seeing 3 against in one period and automatically blaming the goalie.

I thought franzen was responsible for bringing the puck back in

ever since his SO in game 4 he hasn't looked as sharp to me, but he also hasn't gotten much help from his defense, either

we need at least one of those things firing on all cylinders if we're gonna have a chance Wed. night

with the way things have gone for most of these playoffs, it's gonna have to be Howard

Look what happened when we put an ice cold colo in... Smith is the worst defenseman on the ice night in night out. With smith out and White in for this game I bet we win

Ok. We get it. You dont like Smith. He's in tho. So get used to it.

Howard you look like a sack of s*** keep pouting during the shot you clown

You know what?  That was the worst call tonight and that's going some.   Howard has stood on his head for this team throughout the playoffs.  I'm sick to death of these simplistic knee-jerk responses from some posters here.  GET.REAL.

I guess you can make up a rumor that the bears are looking to add Tim Tebow.  It might scare the crap out of some people.
