Okay we're down a top sixer and, lets be honest, they are a better team. it's a 1 goal game - i like this all things considered. would like to see brunner with zetterberg and eaves on the 3rd line. This is doable.

If this were NHL 13 I'd have Franzen on my trading block. Looks lost out there. Like he expects someone to pass to him in the slot with a wide open net. Not even trying.

it's sad that this guy was so good years ago before we put a long-term contract in front of him.

Well, unless a very different Wings team from the first period arrives, I think it's time for them to start booking tee times. The Blackhawks came to play for at least 40 minutes. The Wings are holding on to dear life only through the amazing ability of Howard. I'd like to see Bickel and Shaw end up somewhere through the glass, but I don't think Nyquist bouncing off of them like a BB off a brick wall is going to make that happen. Other than throw off the lines, which it appears that Babcock was dickering with anyway, I'm not sure that losing Flip hurt all that much. We have zero offense. In fact, we've all turned into Mikael "The Logo Killer" Samuelsson. No traffic, no goals. It's not like this is news here. I still have a sliver of hope that somehow the WIngs can find some confidence and play like I know they are able. Despite being down and the Hawks looking better in the first 2, I don't think they look unbeatable. Time to go get my DRW MacFarlane dolls out and create the uber shrine on the entertainment center. Maybe it will help?

I think our guys play hard, they play with as much energy as they can muster almost all times because it seems like we have no next gear. We can't actually generate too much pressure by will alone. We never get to that next level of energy... I am not saying they don't play hard but this whole series they play very even keel at the highest they can for a whole game but never really kick it up a notch when needed... I hope they give their last bit of energy in this last 20 minutes.

He may not have been scoring much, but at least he's great at skating through the neutral zone, entering the zone (without just dumping in the puck) and setting up some offense and battling on the boards. We have ZERO of that going on, so having Flip would be a huge help in that regard. At least we'd be getting some offensive possession.

Saying we're not missing anything without Flip is just stupid.
