Potential amnesty buyouts? And other stuff...

Hey all,

I know that this topic has probably been rehashed over and over, but what speculation has there been on potential amnesty buyouts from around the league? I realize that this topic may come across as simply somewhat of a pipe dream, but I am curious as to what potential opportunities the Wings have in bringing in other people. Is this viable? Was our playoff push/infusion of youth good enough to attract people to come to Detroit? Are we simply building from within through the next 2-3 years? I certainly believe that we can compete for the cup next year (and a few more if Dats stays longer or if we somehow fill the hole his potential departure creates).
