wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted June 6, 2013 Why are Syracuse so dominant? Have they got an even better pile of prospects than us? I looked at there roster and there are some names I've heard of.
Guest Johnz96 Report post Posted June 6, 2013 Why are Syracuse so dominant? Have they got an even better pile of prospects than us? They got great prospects. They had all their best players for the whole playoff run whereas the Griffs just got Nyquist and Anderson 2 games ago. Lashoff was with the Wings at the beginning of the playoffs as well. DeKeyser should make the Griffs even better. They are not as young as the Griffs as the only team younger after the lockout ended was the Manchester Monarchs. Most AHL teams' top 6 consist mostly of AHL vets (although that doesn't seem to be the case with the Crunch) whereas the Griffs top 6 consists entirely of young Wings' prospects. MidMichSteve 1,115 Report post Posted June 8, 2013 The touted defenseman, who played 11 games with the Detroit Red Wings before he broke his right thumb and underwent surgery May 7, will be part of the regular rotation Saturday when the Griffins meet Syracuse in Game 1 of the series at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 8. “It’s been getting better and better since the surgery and it feels right about 100 percent now,” DeKeyser said after the Griffins’ practice at War Memorial Arena. DeKeyser ready for Calder Cup opener. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
