Im glad the next time we see the Hawks will

b in the finals!!

Until then, the Hawks fans will have many reasons to gloat.

Hawks have won 2 Stanley Cups in the last couple years. Its 2-1 since the salary cap hit.

Hawks beat the Wings when down 3-1 in the series this year.

Got to hand it to the Hawks, they deserved it. Crawford, the goalie who is viewed as weak, is now a cup champion. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win the Conn Smythe.

There is no way in Hell that just happened.

Somewhere in hell, Leafs fans are smiling.

so the Wings were the closest to knocking chicago out?

Ironic isn't it.

I felt it was possible, but didn't think LA and Boston would s*** the bed.

If not for some inexperience on the part of the Wings' D, Boston would probably be hoisting the cup right about now.

Almost only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons. Wings got close, but that was about it.

f*** this. I wish we would have nailed Chicago's coffin when we had the damn chance. What a bunch of douchebags. Hope they give the refs their day with the cup.

Edit: how many days until training camp?

It makes it even better that everyone else was going for boston. I was one out and the team I wanted to win won.

But on the very first page you wrote:

I'm hoping Bettman snaps and tries to run off with the cup like shooter in happy gilmore.

Due to Bettman running away with the cup the final is cancelled and no team is awarded the Stanley cup for 2013.

In other words I wish there was a way they could both lose.

What gives?

8.3 Blood A player who is bleeding or who has visible blood on his equipment or body shall be ruled off the ice at the next stoppage of play. Such player shall not be permitted to return to play until the bleeding has been stopped and the cut or abrasion covered (if necessary). It is required that any affected equipment and/or uniform be properly decontaminated or exchanged.

Why was shaw allowed to be on the ice for the final minutes? The cut was not covered, and the cut continued to bleed.
