Had a feeling the Hawks would win it all this year. After their regular season, and their come back to life, near death experience VS the Wings.

Guys, Chicago had to win since they're the pillars of the Western Conference since the Wings are leaving. It's all just business

I'm not trying to call you out but why do you hate Boston so much?  Just curious.

I hate them too, but until next season, Chicago is our mortal enemy.

You'll hate Boston more than anyone if we meet them in the playoffs.  Believe me.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Don't like seeing Chicago win the Cup, but I'm ok with it for 3 reasons...

#1 - They needed a tipped shot in game 7 OT to beat Detroit, so one break in the Wings favor and they might have been the team to win it all.

#2 - It's not Pittsburgh.

And #3 - Jeremy Jacobs is getting his rich reward for how he treated the fans with the lockout. Watching another team skate the Stanley Cup in his own building.

The Hockey Gods exist.

"And the best, I must confess, I have saved for the last, for the ruler of this Christmas land,

is a fearsome king with a deep mighty voice, least, that's what I've come to understand.

And I've also heard it told, that he's something to behold, like a lobster, huge and red!

When he sets out to slay with his rain gear on, carting bulging sacks with his big great arms, that is so I've heard it said.

And on a dark cold night, under full moon light, he flies into a fog like a vulture in the sky!

And they call him Sandy Claws!

If they do, I'd love to take a blowtorch to them right now.

I've never liked them.

It started with hating Tim Thomas. Then I grew to hate chara, Marchand, seguin, rask. The more I saw them the more I disliked them and never wanted to see then win the cup again

Does this game count as the biggest choke ever in a Stanley Cup Final?

Nah.  Blowing a 3-0 lead is as bad as it gets.  Even if nobody watched hockey back then.

Wings were probably due for an OT loss in the Finals in 1964.  They won two Stanley Cups in the early 50's on OT goals in game 7.  Most people don't know that.  That kind of karma bites back eventually.
