WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 I think he's gone with Tatar taking his place. With the cap, and Tatar's more rounded play, it might not be the worst thing for the Wings. That is, if they have to choose between the two, I am happy if they choose Tatar. Both would be great, but I don't see any room in the roster.
ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 According to Helene St. James, Brunner is officially gone from Detroit.

Perhaps Detroit brass was prepared, throughout Brunner's negotiation process, to give his spot to Tatar. The kid has certainly earned a place on the team. Euro_Twins 4,475 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 Brunners alleged asking price was fair. It's a shame we couldn't ditch Sammy and sign him. That little weasel can rot in the minors for all I care. I hope we can sign nyquist Andy and smith
