I hope Mr. I has stocked Red Bird III with plenty of Ginger Ales for the boys' flight home tonight!  That will be the party plane for sure!!

They actually ride a bus. But I know what you're saying.

Congrats to the Griffs.

Awesome game tonight. The crowd was rowdy as hell.

Can't wait to see Tatar in Detroit full-time. Guy always seems to have an extra step on the defense.

Nothing terribly important, but the novelty of it is fun to bask in.

A video from the locker room.  Check out Tatar swigging from the bottle at the end.

Just awesome.  What a great experience for our young guys.

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

Andersson got the pass from Tatar on the empty net 2 on 1, but instead of getting the goal himself, he waited until Tatar was in he clear then fed him for the goal.  Very cool.

Happy for the boys, great job! Tatar was beast, can't wait to see him playing full season in Detroit!

Tatar better be with the big club next year.  After a playoff run like that, he's earned it.    No more of these old guys we're hanging on to..  Im lookin at you Franzen, Bertuzzi, Sammuelsson, Cleary... etc. etc.

Awsome game to be at.  Great crowd at the War Memorial.  Got high fives and fist pumps all night in my Howard jersey.  Two GR/Wings fans sat right in front of us so we high fived after every goal.  You can see me behind the goal to the left jump up on both Evans goal and Tatar's empty netter.  Could see into the locker room as they celebrated and sang.  Really cool and so happy for them!

A little different angle of Tatar's empty net goal!
