No way for you to know that until 5 years from now.

when a guy is ranked 230th by CS you can wait. No I have no idea how he will turn out. But there is no reason to take him now. He would have been there in the 5th, 6th, 7th rounds.

No. He is definitely would not have been there in the 5th, 6th, 7th rounds. Oh wait... there's no way I can prove that. So, it is really a worthless statement.

That's what I'm thinking.

If he can be Callahan+ this could be a decent pick, but I can't believe there weren't other options if he got picked early.

Think of a Callahan without the fighting ability...who still fights a lot. Strange pick but as with all picks there's many years for him yet.

I can give you a good reason why to take him now. Another team shows interest in taking him before you pick again. CS means nothing when your own scouts think hes better. If CS meant everything then Dats and Hank would have been 1st rounders.

I guess that means Bert is gone. I think it was part of the collective bargaining agreement that you can only have 1 bertuzzi per franchise.

Having multiple Bertuzzis was grandfathered in for teams that had an existing Bertuzzi on the roster prior to the new CBA taking effect.
