Sure it will rise again which is obviously a very good thing but having 7 players making up 75 % jof the cap is a hard pill to swallow unless the cap is reaching something like 80 million soon, they are not going to add much depth with that kind of money tied up on 7 players. Im not so sure that it is such a good thing. Certain gm's will sign stupid big contracts then say they have no money which leads to another lockout which leads to another cap roll back. Next season Niskanen, Jokinen and Orpik are among the UFAs. Their starting goaltender is still Fleury, who's still tying up $5M in cap space.
