overrated

resign brunner and try and make a trade , not much out there in the market doesnt meant we gotta f*** ourselves over longterm and sign someone just for the sake of it

Why trade our valuable young assets when we can acquire a guy like Weiss for free?

Yes Weiss is better than Brunner.

"The leader must never close the gap between himself and the group. If he does, he is no longer what he must be. He must walk a tightrope between the consent he must win and the control he must exert."
Vince Lombardi

When asked who won, Babcock said, “Well it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t lose. It’s like going bear hunting, you take a slow guy with you in case the bear is hungry.”

I am worried about the 6m with this guy, 5, I would be ok with, 6m is a bit much, it better be a short term!

"The more I know about people - the better I like my dog." - Mark Twain

"A wise man once told me, ‘Don’t argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can’t tell who is who'." Jay Z, Takeover

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

“Told him if he wasn't ultra-competitive he couldn't come here. If he didn't bring it every day he couldn't come here, because he was going to hate it if he didn't, dislike the coach and dislike playing here.
“It's real straightforward. If you don't do it right, you're not happy here." Babcock

5m is where I would want to be. 6m is steep.

(short term anyway)

This better not be 6 mil per, since there is a guy avaiable at the exact same amount of money who would fill all the Wings needs damnit. Let Weiss sign elsewhere please

Wings cannot afford 6 million for anyone. Look at the cap. Plus he is not worth it. Brunner at 3 >>>>>> Flipulla at 5 > Weiss at 6.

For 2 years, I wouldn't be too upset with 6m. For more than 2 years, I don't like this. Any word on Grabovski's asking price?

What's with the tremendous love for Brunner? Weiss is a FAR superior player...It's not even a comparison.

Fallback plan would be Paul Ysebaert or Jimmy Carson.

Maybe you overpay a little bit. Get Weiss. He's a great fit.

Detroit would like to welcome the Eastern Conference

What has Brunner done that makes him not overrated compared to Weiss?

he's a goal scorer which we dont have many guys of , who are just pure snipers and he shouldnt cost as much money as weiss

Anyone who says Kenny never takes the plunge and over pays a bit for a free agent..there ya go.

LGW after 1 loss is irrational, after a few in a row it becomes quite comical, 22 playoff appearances in a row and 4 cups in that time and still going strong. Relaxxxxx !!
