While there are definitely names that warrant their own threads, there are plenty of other players that do not. Let's post and discuss those signings here.

@NHLonTSN: Viktor Stalberg signs a 4-year, $12 million deal with the Predators. #TSN #NHL
$3 million annually seems like a lot for a guy who was bouncing between the 3rd and 4th lines in Chicago.

not a signing but figured this fits here as it doesn't deserve its own topic..

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 1m

Michael Ryder is considering offers from New Jersey and Boston. #TSN

I think he'd be a good fit in Boston. Size and skill. A [very] poor man's Horton.

very poor man's horton now that columbus got their hands on him :P but yeah, agreed he'd be a good fit.

no surprise boston (lost horton) and jersey (lost clarkson) are the two targeting him most..

Sportsnet just reported Wings are talking to Brenden Morrow for possibly a replacement for Cleary.

How many former captains can a team add in one day?

..but I thought Cleary's replacement was Alfredsson.

NOOOO! Cullen to the Preds. I thought he had another year with the Wild.

I loved rooting for our local boy with our local team (as much as anything is "local" in ND).

Just when the Wild were getting good, too.

I saw a tremendous discussion on Tim and Sid's show Sportsnet360 regarding the possibility that Chris Campoli and Ron Hainsey might be part of a "blacklist". This is something that I hadn't considered before it was talked about. We'll see how it plays out.

For what reason, though?

Nashville was very active.

-Eric Nystrom

-Viktor Stalberg

-Matt Cullen

-Matt Hendricks

Max Lapierre to St. Louis hasn't been discussed much. Blues found their replacement for Scott Nichol.

Plenty of players still out there:

-Dustin Penner

-Brenden Morrow

-Mikhail Grabovski

-Douglas Murray

-Jaromir Jagr
