Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 There will be more than 2.3 million. The wings have trade a couple forwards after today's signings. Trade for picks = cap space Exactly. Kenny Holland said he was going to sign big forwards at the draft. He did. He said he was going to try and get a 2nd line centre and was looking at top 6 guys. He followed through. He said he was going to have to move some pieces around with trades and that guys that were assured spots on the Wings next year are Tatar, Nyquist, Smith, Andersson and Lashoff I believe. Holland sure is doing a great job. Good show old boy. What a s***ty, s***ty, s***ty job he has done the last three years. If Jim Nill was the reason we draft well, this team is going to be defunct in five years. In our system, aren't most of our top forward prospects aside from Jarnkrok who's likely 3 years away wingers?? Nyquist, Tatar, Frk, Jurco, Tvrdon, Mantha, Pulkkinen, etc. Those guys need quality centremen to play around, we have 5 quality centremen with Z on Dats' wing and Weiss, Helm and Andersson to follow. And if Helm is ??? then Andersson moves up and Emmerton fills the 4th centre role admirably. So we have really good 2-way guys at C and a buttload of really talented and some with really good size wing prospects. I'm liking what's going on here. We couldnt really throw Z and Dats together wothout giving up 2C to fil who isnt a threat at centre. Weiss allows us to do this all day. He is also great insurance if helm goes down or isnt ready. Weiss also has the ability to throw the body around too which fil didnt do much. The move the LW will increase Z's longevity. I would like to see Franzen bought out next year with oir second amnesty if he doesnt perform this year as his contract will look bad in a couple years as he ages. I think that eventually dats and Z will be split up again with this lineup. I love them playing together but we would essentially have two top lines with them split up.
