Per Khan on Twitter...

"Wings sign forward Luke Glendening to 1-year, 2-way deal. He flourished in AHL playoffs for Grand Rapids."

Nice to see hard work & determination get rewarded.  Would it be wrong to suggest that's a lesson some players on the big club might need a reminder of?

Money on the Board 2014: $5 per series, $5 per sweep, $5 per Kronwalling, $10 per Marchand Kronwalling, $1 per Zetterberg game, $1 per 2013 Calder Cup roster player goal

I doubt that Franzen is reading the forum today.

Good pickup, I wonder if other teams were sniffing around, and this is how he was retained in GR. I was impressed with him during the AHL playoffs. Does he have a realistic shot at getting called up, though?

He has a heck of a work ethic I wouldn't be surprised if he got a chance to be a 4th line guy some day whether its with us or else where.

Babcock loves the kid. Said during the Calder Cup Finals that he'd be a full-time NHLer some day.

That's a pretty big boost for the kid coming from Babs. Great deal!
