MabusIncarnate 5,344 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 I believe it to be authentic. If you look at a bunch of examples, a lot of things stand out to this signature. Look at a few below. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A0oG7jPp.f1RHzsADS5XNyoA?p=al+arbour+autograph&fr=yfp-t-600&fr2=piv-web The open ended A in both the first and last name, how HOF '96' is written out in a lot of these autographs are very close. The fluidity of the autograph is also correct. I think your friend can breathe easy, also in general when you get phony autographs online the seller doesn't have anywhere close to a 12k positive ebay reputation. I worked for a legitimate sports collectibles business for years so i'm pretty familiar with determining what is authentic and what isn't and especially what to look for an warning signs of phony sigs. I think you are good to go with the example you provided.
