We won, 3-1. Anaihbdetsjwou with two goals, Sheahan with one. Paterson was sort of hung out to dry on the Wild's lone goal. Up next (today!): Dallas. I guess they're heavily favored, or something.

Minnesota is widely regarded as having the best prospect pool in the league. I know its just 1 game and all pre-AHL prospects, but having just won the Calder trophy I'm very excited about our future. Easily the deepest prospect pool, every player we have drafted has potential

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting forwards, then dangles 2 defenceman, and follows it up by doing "the datsyuk" on his victims, then calmly skates back to his bench ,and goes home to his girlfriend back in the motherland.

in terms of prospects, that top six is filthy!! haha love it. cannot wait for the likes of jurco, mantha, frk, jarnkrok, etc to be on the big squad.

Datsyukian

Dat·syu·ki·an [dat-soo-kee-uh n]

adjective

          1. When your moves are so amazing and beyond reason, the only way to describe them is "datsyukian."

Actually the top line and Jarnkrok I believe all have AHL experience, even if its only a few games.

In addition to the top line (Sheahan, Jurco, Pulkkinen) and Jarnkrok, Ryan Sproul (2 games) & Max Nicastro (25 games) have also gotten AHL experience and don't forget that Alexei Marchenko's been playing in the KHL with CSKA Moscow.  Certainly not all pre-AHL talent on the roster.

BTW, love hearing that Sheahan played nearly 20 minutes in last night's game & that the top line looked absolutely filthy on the cycle at points.

Money on the Board 2014: $5 per series, $5 per sweep, $5 per Kronwalling, $10 per Marchand Kronwalling, $1 per Zetterberg game, $1 per 2013 Calder Cup roster player goal

I was gonna say the same thing but I scrolled down and read for a change.  Line 3 is looking good too.

This offseason will determine whether Ken Holland should still be employed with the Wings organization.

Please put Smith on the Power Play!

Could actually be him, you know.

Anyway, Hockeys Future has Florida ranked #1 and Minnesota at #4. Hardly "widely regarded" methinks.

Might not be up for long though...
