Somewhat old news but I figured people may be interested.

Steinbach product Ian White, a puck-moving defenceman, was among those skating with the Jets players on Tuesday and a source confirmed this afternoon that he will attend training camp on a pro tryout offer.

I hope he makes it and does well there.

White is still servicable so I hope he makes it. I like that Winnipeg is giving him a chance, he is from Winnipeg also and their defense needs a lot of help, so good for both of them.

Good fit.

Seems like once Lids left, White was, shall we say...exposed a bit.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!" - Kierkegaard
