Tatar is going to be traded. Cleary just finalized that.

It still would be nice to have that one guy. (Jordin Tootoo, wish granted)

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting forwards, then dangles 2 defenceman, and follows it up by doing "the datsyuk" on his victims, then calmly skates back to his bench ,and goes home to his girlfriend back in the motherland.

Its possible but i think its more likely one of the older veterans gets dealt.

No way Holland gives up on Tatar. We can always waive Eaves, Bertuzzi or Sammy. There is just no way we trade Tatar when we have goal scoring issues.
Check out my short e-book on the Red Wings' 1937 Stanley Cup championship entitled: "Nothing Could Keep 'Em Down." Please download it from my profile at Smashwords: https://www.smashwor...ile/view/victor

New e-book: The Spanish-American War: A Brief History. Relatively short, introductory read for casual history buffs and people who want to learn more about a forgotten war that changed America. Available at BN.com, Smashwords, Kobo, and Diesel E-Books right now. Same link as above.

All 3 of those players if waived & not claimed by another team will still count towards the cap.  Eaves would still have a cap impact of $275k, Bert $1.975m, & Sammy $2.9m so none of that solves the Wings being ~$2.4m over the cap.

Money on the Board 2014: $5 per series, $5 per sweep, $5 per Kronwalling, $10 per Marchand Kronwalling, $1 per Zetterberg game, $1 per 2013 Calder Cup roster player goal

Tatar's not going anywhere, talk about overreaction.

In other news I watched Mark Scheifle tonight, playing against Washington and he 's looking NHL ready.  I'm looking forward to seeing how he does this season.

Dekeyser by far, he is from Michigan a big kid and I hope he bulked up, can you imagine what he could with 215+ lbs?

Looked bulked up in the Team USA promo pics from a couple weeks ago. If someone has those...

Darnell Nurse.  Hopefully he makes the Oil (I can't see why he wouldn't with their D issues).  He's got one of the craziest slapshots I've ever seen and he is tough as nails.

Tatar and Nyquist.....oh wait, they don't get to play again cause Holland ruined a great summer by signing DANNYf****** CLEARY AGAIN!!!! As far as i'm concerned, the whole rookie class can eat s*** cause we won't have any this year cause we have 10 veteran role players on our team.

Teams want Tatar, they don't want the guys that we don't want.  They only get traded with a guy like Tatar in a package.

This offseason will determine whether Ken Holland should still be employed with the Wings organization.

Please put Smith on the Power Play!
