This probably isn't going to be too popular, but i actually like emmerton.

Hes a serviceable 4th line center.

Responsible defensively, a decent passer, and hes positionally sound.

Anderssons not gonna be burning up the score sheet either but surround him by two good wingers and he looks amazing.

I honestly believe we could still get at least a 7th rounder for him, because he still hasnt hit his prime yet.

I do believe we have better options in grand rapids, but if we bring them up too fast well be saying the same thing about them in 3-5 years.

A lot of bad can be said about the whole "over-ripening" process, especially on lgw, but lgw also agrees that mrazek needs the playing time in grand rapids over minimal time in the big club, why isn't the same principle with skaters?

Apologies for the long post.

Ha.

Edit: hes also consistent, we know what to expect from him.

Glendog looks great, but at the same time he's trying to show he belongs, and is against the farm team right now.

Who knows what hell be like regularly.

Just food for thought.

He does look great tonight though.

There is something to be said for consistency.

That's why I like him so much.

I don't know anyone personally on here, so Im unaware of the backgrounds.

But I assume there's people with more hockey experience than me.

But I played up until varsity high school, and its legitimately amazing the consistency some of these kids show.

That's why watching people lime data and z are so damn amazing.

Emmerton may not be anything better than a fourth liner, but you know what he's giving you.

Although he was playing with Sammy (the anchor) Jarnkrok looks very far away from the NHL. I hate to say it because I had such high expectations, but he has a long way to go. He hasn't even shown any flashes of anything really. He isn't being boneheaded or anything but just not looking like a future top 6 centre.

Disagreed. The key will be putting on some muscle. He's playing well defensively, reading plays, keeping it simple, but he should be playing with more talented offensive players. Give him atleast this year in Grand Rapids before giving up on him.

I'm not giving up on him by any means. I was just hoping he would be call-up material this year. Sheahan looks much better.
