Right now we're a one line team, and the first line is getting keyed on.  I still think the second will come around, they had flashes of chemistry against Buffalo.  But we've got to get some secondary scoring.  My third line would be the kids (Nyquist, Andersson, and Tatar) and my fourth would be Cleary-Emmerton-Miller until Helm is healthy.  That would be a strong checking line because Cleary at least looks like he's skating better, and the third line would score.

Sooner or later they're going to have to make a decision on Samuelsson, if he can't be traded then at least waive him and open up the roster spot.

It's too early to make these decisions yet, but they shouldn't wait too long because we're in a tougher division now and points will be at a premium.

I can't believe that two veterans like Pavel and Hank don't have enough pull on the team to ask Babcock to make a change there.  They shouldn't have to play with "hammer hands Abby" on their line.

Abby's there because Datsyuk said he liked playing with him

Dats would say that, no matter who was on his line.

So glad Holland panicked and just had to resign Cleary. He continues to look useless and Im sure Nyquist or Tatar couldnt bring some life into the team.

Sarcasm aside the 3rd line and 2nd pp unit are borderline embarrassing. Comparing 2nd PP units of the other teams in the league Id say the Wings is bottom 7. The Franzen, Weiss, Alfie line is looking nowhere near as good as the first game. With two new players though I wont condemn them yet. Let them work things out. Bert needs to sit on the bench unless needed for shootouts.

Canes got two freak lucky goals. So far it just seems like one of those nights where the hockey gods are against the Wings. They can change that by hard work but we shall see.

i no longer think abs is any help on the first line. he doesnt help
if the struggles to score keeps up might have to break up dats and Z

2nd line isn't working too well. Alfie -> 1st line, Nyq -> 2nd line, Abby->4th line, Tatar ->3rd line. Bert&Sammy->whatever

Then he enjoys doing all the work and still not putting up the points that he would put up with a decent linemate.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Pav is to good of a teammate to publicly say otherwise. I could be on the line and he would say hes happy with it.

I vote Siberia

I have no idea how Abby is getting so much hate tonight- he set up the Wings second best scoring chance and is playing on the only line to consistently get chances. There are 9 other forwards doing less tonight.

"Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years..."

Despite LL Cool J's warning, I'm calling it.

Edit:  I was already typing this when we scored.  See?  I'm magic.
